Chris has been working with us for over 18 years as the sales-face and brand ambassador of Munchy Seeds, tirelessly working events up and down the length of the country, in some years organising and running as many as 40 to 50 events in a single year.
With his wealth of knowledge from attending and booking shows for over 30years it means there's very little Chris hasn't had to deal with - He brings a wealth of knowledge to all parts of the events package; from knowing show organisers, set-up & break down's, taking cash, running 'show deals', choosing good stands to ordering stock and getting it delivered to your stand, it's all taken care of.
Chris's attention to detail is also what sets him apart from others, his stands always look professional and are run like clockwork. It doesn't matter is he is manning the stand on his own or in charge of a team. He's quick to make a decision and likes to act upon it fast. That's born from both confidence and knowledge.
If you want your exhibition stand to be placed at the forefront of a show, have an easier time of loading and unloading and be able to rely 100% upon the knowledge that your stand will be where it is meant to be, and set up on time, then Chris Day is your man!
I first met Chris during Cowes Week in 1996 or 97, where I had a stand for my 2 year old business Saint Valentines Liquorice Company. Chris was working for a food promotional company. His professionalism struck me in doing the job he had, but also in the interest he took in my products and business. I thought if I could employ him, we could go far together.
A couple of years later, in 1998, while contemplating selling Saint Valentines when I received a call from Chris to say he'd like to work for me. I decided then and there that this was what I needed to build the business. So for the next two years, Chris and I worked closely together to exponentially increase the reach, size, audience and business model I had envisioned.
Chris had a natural and intuitive quality of gamesmanship in the events industry for a niche product like mine. He showed a deep sense of willingness to learn and also bring his unique qualities to our working relationship to meet our end goals, to deliver growth.
Chris left my employee in 2001. We have remained friends since and we both have continued to work in the events industry. After 25 years, I too have built up considerable experience, but if I ever need to ask for advice, even now, I would always turn to Chris. I could think of nobody else who has unique expertise quite like him.
